Socialism is not related to Democracy as you seem to think it is. In fact, they coexist in the United States. Democracy is a political process. Socialism is an economic principal. Any time we take public funds (tax dollars) and hand it out to the poor (welfare) we are participating in socialism. Many of the ballot measures in the 50 states are on socialist issues. Democracy simply says that the people who are affected by the changes get a voice. The problem is that the general public is too stupid to make good choices. "A person is inteligent. People are wild dumb animals." - K: MIB Caius wrote: >You don't know how very present your country is over here. Computers, movies, music, dough. Sometimes one has to free himself. Long live socialism and ecology and contempt of money. By the way, my ancestors are yours too, in a way.
