I don't know where in CA you are, but his description sound nothing like our punch cards. Ours here in SoCal are about 3x10, printed both sides in clear font. They fit in a punch machine that has a large arrow that points at your currently selected choice, (clicking from choice to choice as you move it) when it's lined up on who you want, you press the large nob on the right and it puts a large, clear square hole in the ample space provided. Very quick, easy to use and almost immpossible to vote for the wrong choice. kinda fun, too.
Of course, the booths themselves are cardboard, with a peice of plastic garbage bag for a curtain... Nothings perfect. |
