yes it was a typo, I've done a 13 hour teaching shift, with no breaks, damn japanese working regulations. And onto that the fact that my poor pc has an id crisis at the moment, and randomly switches Japanese and english keyboards... the result being that I hit the wrong letters from time to time.
Again, I'd still use "aru" based on the original, as to me it doesn't imply that a problem suddenly arose, but that the problem has always been there. But I concede to "dekiru" also being possible.
Well if I have time, I may well try my hand at a translation... I usually go the other way though (J2E) |
