Fledgling Linux User by Grom 2000-09-16 15:35:17
Hi, I figured I'd finally get around to asking this because Im finally getting some free time in my weeks :-). I figured what better place to go for a linux Q than User friendly :-). I have never used Linux before, but want to learn how to work it beyond just the normal running programs on it. I have never used linux before and do not even have a copy of it currently. I have numerous secondary computers that I could install it on so crashing my main system is not a problem. Well I should probably get to the point. Does anyone have any recomendations for a distribution type/version and any resources to help a newbie (heck yea I admit it) learn linux? Any recommendations would be nice. - Grom "They wouldn't have painted that button RED if they didn't want me to push it!" - Unknown Source
