I dread thinking about this...I shutter ever time I'm typing an rm -r /blah/blah command. All my partitions, all my -o rw -t nfs mounts, and anything else that happens to be mounted...GONE Think about it, what if you accidentally put a space between the first / and the directory name? like: rm -rf / tmp/kde* You would free up a lot more disk space that you had originally planned to.
