sony ... lol :o) by skaredy 2000-08-27 06:46:58
i read a news article a while back about the vp of sony sayin some crazy stuff... like "we are making an aggressive effort to stop napster" (duh) and that they were gonna "firewall it at the [users ISP...he said cable, phone company and a few others] but, isnt that kinda funny? he also said that napster made music available for free download on their website... come to think of it, i hear that alot is it just me, or are we alone in a world full of morons? hmph... oh well they will all be our slaves someday, and they can wash the smelly stuff out from between my toes for me :o) hehee and even if they _could_ get everyone to block nappy's ports, there is so much free software floatin around... (teknap, hacknap...etc) someone could just whack the source around til it dynamically allocated em, thus beating ye old fireywall...unless of course they chose to only open certain ports, in which case you could specify which port to use on installation... but anyway, i hope someone is inspired to do somethin like this :o) cuz i got plenty of problems of my own to deal with ... :o( oh weelllll... maybe i'll be back soon, cya later!
