Sony trying to steal our minds again, I for 1 will not be getting a playstation 2, in fact I will never get a console again, my last one was a Megadrive (Genesis) and Mega-CD (What a waste of money, the Mega CD that is)
Now you can play all of the games you can on the playstation, dreamcast, PS2 on your PC, well almost all, and what I can't play, I'll never know about, because I don't frequent console shops or read their magazines.
Sony will never dominate the market with 1 device, it will not happen, you have individual devices for individual tasks, I have my Hi-Fi hardware for listening to my music, and I know for a fact that it sounds better than anything Sony can come up with, especially the PS2. I have my computer for playing games, using the internet, ordering my socks, writing really crappy VB programs (Hey don't jump down my throat) doing college work, editing grophics. blah blah, I have my TV for watching TV, Video for watching videos, and DVD player for watching DVDs.
You get my point, all-in-wonders have never done the job as well as individual components, look at the swiss army knife or the dremmel multi (Drill thing)
