Tommy Tutone ended up owning the number, 867-5309, in many, if not all, places the prefix was used, and left a recorded message for anyone who called it. The call in traffic was so big that it was eventually moved to a 1-800 number, then just shut down all together.
(I heard about this origanly froom people who called the number, then I called it myself to see. Sure enought, the message was there.) |
