>'*eep*' is some kind of surprising noise .. we, in spain, say '¿eh?' and we don't use asterisks around the words to express boldface, this is, emphasis in writing. Just a mixture of open and close exclamation marks or question marks is what we have.
>'¡Hola?' means an exclamatory sentence that morphs into a question. It's all legal in spanish, but seldom used. We can use the opposite, starting a question and ending in an exclamation of surprise. That's the flexibility of having both opening and closing question and exclamation marks ... Now let's go for the flaming! ;)

What would be really cool is for all the text in the cartoons to be done as text on the page. You could then have a language translation program which automatically translates to which ever language you choose. Still, while we're waiting keep up with the Spanish ones :) |
