Maybe I'm a minority to whom these posts don't bother at all, but seeing an entire deleted thread at the bottom of the comment board everyday is a bit more of an eyesore than the first post crap.
Trolls and idiots DO exist on the internet, this is a given, but censoring something as innane and harmless (albeit annoying) as the first post stuff is a bit extreme.
Inflamatory and/or offensive comments should be removed, I'm all for that, but deleting an entire thread every day because of the 'First Post' trolls is not something I'm particularly thrilled about seeing from the UF staff and community. I'm sure you have good reasons, and I'd love to hear them, but as it stands right now, I certainly don't agree with the deletion of comments that aren't offensive in any way, only annoying.
