Damn, Illiad, I didn't get it at ALL... you see, I've cleaned the stupid "falling sheep" screensaver (which hoses several mission critical corporate applications) off of so many machines here at work I thought it was entirely appropriate to have a sheep in there with the virii. Other noxious applications that spread through human contravention of corporate policy are Active X and AIM, so only Windows 98 (which spreads through more /controllable/ channels, regardless of how good or evil any OS religous nut might think it is) really didn't belong. UF, of course, is an AWESOME time-gobbler, though not as bad as virii or poorly written screen savers, and it arguably has a therapy value ;^).
> ferchrissakes...the cartoon is *about* bashing, and how ridiculously one-sided it usually is, so to make that a little clearer, I offer to you three choices to select from. It's kind of like a sticker set. (Hey, that's not a bad idea...)

Or more specific - like Active X, or some other nasty technology that is included in Windows (which is just another gui platform anyway, deserving no more or less contempt than Xwindows or Macos).

Save some for me, after that last paragraph I expect I'll get toasted. Of course I'll never have time to read the replies anyway.... sorry flamers!

PS- I still owe you a beer from that gig in NY.
