They can't be Amish - the man doesn't have a beard. The Mennonites (Amish, etc.) don't shave. I think Illiad was trying to depict Quakers as they were in historical times when they were more numerous. He made them look Dutch to me. Were many Quakers Dutch? Yes, I know I'm responding to people who won't see this.
