TCP/IP anyone? by drstrange 2001-09-08 14:45:52
I'm sorry, but I just can't see the reason in this. Linux, MacOS, BeOS, Windows... heck, even Amiga all have TCP/IP capabilities. There's no need to reformat all of Columbia's machines to NT. Linux can crunch TCP/IP, no problem. If the iCant servers can't talk to Columbia's servers, there must be a bad configuration in one of the two networks, some kind of blocked port, firewall... something. This is like putting out a smoldering cigarette with a firehose. Mr. Tufay reveals his ignorance.
