if you used a bar magnet, use the other end to pull the electrons back into place.
I know about this cuz a couple years ago, my little brother got called to the principle's office because the librarian in the media center of his school saw that some of the monitors of their computers had been messed with with a magnet. Her logic, honest to god, went like this:
-[cybergeek's brother] knows about computers.
-the computers have been messed with.
-therefore [cybergeek's brother] messed with the computers.
Needless to say, he doesn't go to that school anymore.
We had quite a laugh about *that* incident at the dinner table, though. |
